What do you need to know?
Laser treatments for secondary cataract, diabetic retinopathy or glaucoma are short procedures, which are performed with local anesthesia and pupil dilation drops. They are not considered surgical procedures, but targeted treatments used for different purposes depending on the disorder. These treatments are performed with the VISULAS® YAG III Combi from Carl Zeiss, the “multi-purpose” laser for retinal photocoagulation, secondary cataract treatment and laser glaucoma therapies, a high-performance device designed for maximum efficiency and flexibility.
