Quality and performance are concepts that guide us in what we do. The equipment with which Dr. Holhoș clinics are equipped are state-of-the-art devices, with high performance and capacity, constantly updated and calibrated.

Unique in Romania: The ArcScan Insight® 100 instrument provides anatomical detail to make informed, clinically sound treatment and surgical decisions.

The new MS-39 investigations device is capable of performing complex and detailed corneal investigations required for laser refractive surgery and accurate keratoconus diagnosis.

The Pentacam® AXL Wave, is a unique, revolutionary device that combines, for the first time, multiple types of scanning to provide a complete, detailed image of the cornea and lens.

Revo FC is an all-in-one device that can be used for multiple investigations

The VISUMAX® 800 from ZEISS represents the latest generation of ZEISS femtosecond lasers, offering reduced laser time compared to its predecessors, while SMILE® pro surgery allows us to create a fast and comfortable patient experience.

The platform, available for the first time in the Dr. Holhoș network, offers the possibility to perform complex laser operations, thus covering the full range of laser surgery.

The integrated intraoperative OCT4 images of the ZEISS OPMI LUMERA 700 allow a clear view of every surgical procedure, helping to achieve excellent results.

Perseus is an endothelial microscope, which offers several types of investigations, used in the diagnosis of corneal dystrophies, degenerative diseases and in the pre- and post-operative evaluation of cataract surgery.

LASER refractive surgery is a treatment method that was developed with the idea of correcting diopters. The surgery can be performed on both eyes in the same session.

Automatic refraction measurement is performed with a precision ophthalmic device, called a refractometer, used to determine dioptric power.

This device is used to examine the fundus.
It is indicated for the diagnosis of retinal and choroidal disorders.

One of the state-of-the-art ophthalmological investigations that allows early diagnosis, targeted treatment and proper follow-up of a wide range of eye disorders.

The computerized perimeter is a modern diagnostic tool for precise and rapid visual field testing that allows reliable and accurate results in any situation.

It’s the newest version of a high-resolution ultrasound scanner. Oculo-orbital ultrasound is a common, painless ultrasound that allows the evaluation of the soft tissues of the eye socket, of the eye as a whole, but also of the various ocular structures.

Allows the representation of the fundus. Angiofluorography (AFG) is a method of recording the retinal vascular system using sodium fluorescein as contrast agent.

Corneal topography consists of a computerized map by scanning the surfaces of the cornea (anterior and posterior). It uses Placido disk technology which provides sub-micron accuracy.

Laser treatments for secondary cataract, diabetic retinopathy or glaucoma are short procedures that are performed with local anesthesia and pupil dilation drops.

The VegaCBM x-linker is a single LED UV device for cross-linking. The integrated video camera and on-screen guided procedure make the device unique on the market.

Important note regarding patient consultations and surgery appointments

A patient who cancels a consultation or surgery appointment once, at least one day prior to the scheduled appointment, has the right to a second appointment under the same conditions.
If the patient cancels the second consultation and/or surgery appointment, a new appointment can be made only if the patient accepts to pay for both the consultation and the surgery in advance. This can be done either by payment order or in cash at the clinic reception.
A patient who does not show up for their consultation or surgery, who does not cancel the appointment in due time, or does not answer the clinic’s calls, may request a second appointment only if they pay for the consultation/surgery in advance.
Patients requesting an appointment for retinal surgeries or laser Prk/Femtolasik/Smile Pro must pay 30% of the cost of the surgery in advance. The appointment will be scheduled only after receiving the advance payment. If the patient is unable to attend the scheduled consultation or surgery, and cancels the intervention at least 48 hours beforehand, they will be refunded in full. If the patient does not show up and does not cancel or contact the clinic at least 48 hours in advance, the advance paid is considered to be lost as damages and will no longer be refunded.
