
What do you need to know?
Post operative controls are performed at predetermined intervals after surgery.
Cataract post operative control – is performed 45 days after surgery, and includes visual acuity, ocular tonometry and fundus.
Excimer Laser post operative control – is performed at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and includes visual acuity, ocular tonometry and fundus.
Vitrectomy/retinal detachment/ILM peeling post operative control – is performed 45 days after surgery, and includes visual acuity, ocular tonometry, fundus and retinal tomography or ultrasound (as appropriate).
Post-treatment control – is performed according to the doctor’s recommendations and the type of treatment, and is communicated after the treatment is completed.
