The new hospital is located at Calea Moților, nr. 61, in the roundabout area, will have 5 floors and a generous parking lot. The exact configuration of services and staff is not yet determined, but it will certainly cover areas of great need for Alba Iulia. One of the floors will be dedicated to the new ophthalmology clinic Dr. Holhoș, which will move its headquarters to the new building.
Construction began in February 2021, and in early 2022, the basement and ground floor were completed, and work began on the first floor.
