New investigation devices for high-performance results

Top investigations are an essential part of diagnosis, especially in ophthalmology, where high-performance surgical technique requires at least the same standard in the investigation part.

We frequently acquire new investigative equipment with newly developed technologies or improved capabilities. Our aim is to have a complete overview of all disorders, so that the decision and recommendation to perform a particular type of surgery or treatment can be made correctly.

OCT Optopol Revo FC is the most complete device for complex investigations – fundus and anterior segment of the eye.

The new CT scanner features eye tracking that compensates for involuntary eye movements, and offers the ability to see the smallest detail of retinal scans in real time at the highest quality.

  • With its fundus camera function, it provides real images that help diagnose retinal problems.
  • Allows photography of the anterior segment of the eye – cornea, sclera, pupil, eyelids.
  • Allows diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma, biometry and corneal assessment through the topography module.

Perseus is an endothelial microscope, which offers several types of investigations, used in the diagnosis of corneal dystrophies, degenerative diseases and in the pre- and post-operative evaluation of cataract surgery. It is also needed for refractive surgery (SMILE, LASIK, PRESBYOND, PRK).

Endothelial microscopy is an investigation that indicates the health of the cornea. The endothelial cell layer may be responsible for fluctuating and blurred vision, photophobia, contact lens intolerance, halos around light sources, etc.

Perseus is a fully automatic, non-contact, non-invasive instrument.

Highly detailed investigations make the difference in prescribing certain treatments or surgeries, and for our patients, that translates into lower risks and better outcomes.

SEE PRACTICES AND CLINICS

Important note regarding patient consultations and surgery appointments

A patient who cancels a consultation or surgery appointment once, at least one day prior to the scheduled appointment, has the right to a second appointment under the same conditions.
If the patient cancels the second consultation and/or surgery appointment, a new appointment can be made only if the patient accepts to pay for both the consultation and the surgery in advance. This can be done either by payment order or in cash at the clinic reception.
A patient who does not show up for their consultation or surgery, who does not cancel the appointment in due time, or does not answer the clinic’s calls, may request a second appointment only if they pay for the consultation/surgery in advance.
Patients requesting an appointment for retinal surgeries or laser Prk/Femtolasik/Smile Pro must pay 30% of the cost of the surgery in advance. The appointment will be scheduled only after receiving the advance payment. If the patient is unable to attend the scheduled consultation or surgery, and cancels the intervention at least 48 hours beforehand, they will be refunded in full. If the patient does not show up and does not cancel or contact the clinic at least 48 hours in advance, the advance paid is considered to be lost as damages and will no longer be refunded.
